going to chapter 7

Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving. my ? is i'm going from 13 to 7 now and it hasn't even dismissed yet on the 13 so does the trustee still take money from the money he is holding to pay the bills. if yes how much does he get for doing nothing? and do i still pay for the 13 if it really didn't go thru to my lawyer? cause i'll be paying for a chapter 7 soon also. thanks everyone

Can you just convert your 13 over to a 7 instead of dismissing the 13 first?
