I'm a little confused about something. The way I understand it, the 60 month countdown starts after confirmation - is that correct? So what happens to all the money that is paid into the plan before confirmation?

I believe Michigan is the only state that doesn't start the clock until confirmation (could be wrong about that, but it's certainly not common). Most states begin counting as soon as you file.Filed Chapter 13 on 2-28-10. 341 completed 4/14/10. Confirmed 5/14/10. Lien strip granted 2/2/11
0% payback to unsecured creditors, 56 payments down, 4 to go....

I've heard that about Michigan too, but I know it's not the case in Florida. My TT's website has a little ticker in the corner when I sign in to my account. It says "52 of 60 remaining" and updates every month when I send in my payment. I filed in February, got confirmed in June and have made 8 payments, so it includes the payments I made before confirmation.Filed Ch 13 - 2/2010
341 meeting - 4/2010
Confirmed! - 6/2010
