Boy Lrprn you are so right. Wish we had done ours already. My fault for thinking we had a year.

Given the information you've shared so far, yes, it does sound like you have made all the required payments. Does your trustee's website show you have paid all your unsecured creditors that filed claims 100% of what they said you owed them?

If yes, then the next step is to contact your lawyer first thing Monday morning, confirm your plan payments have indeed all been paid, and get your debtor education course taken and make certain your lawyer files it with the court ASAP well within the letter's listed deadline!!!

If you have indeed made your last payment, congratulations! Be sure to let us know what you find out. (My fingers are crossed for you!). The next step will be waiting through your trustee's audit until that's done, and the time that takes varies widely across the country. It usually takes somewhere between three and eight weeks after your last payment is posted. Your lawyer can give you an idea of what timeframe to expect your particular trustee will take to complete the required case audit and send the discharge request to your local bk court judge.

One more question if someone can help. It says last payment received 11/08/11, but they are still takihg it out of my hubbys check. He gets paid every week and they deduct the payments. Thats why I was shocked to get this letter. Will they continue to withhold the payments until we get the certificate completed? What happens to that money? Thanks for the help.

Until your husband's employer is notified to stop the withdrawals, they will continue. The good news is everything extra you pay you'll get back in full once your trustee completes the required audit.

When you talk to your lawyer, if your plan payments have indeed all been made ask your lawyer to contact your trustee and get the auto-payments from your husband's checks stopped. That's the best way to get the weekly payment withdrawals stopped. Otherwise they will continue to come out until his employer hears from the court that the payment withdrawals can stop.

Be sure to let us know what you find out from your lawyer, ok? I'm hoping you'll get good news!
