I filed!!! Just one question?

I finally filed, and I feel very happy. My 341 meeting is set for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving day, but my confirmation meeting is not till the end of April. I am in Los Angeles, and I thought that my confirmation meeting would be sooner, Is this normal?

Every court is different. If you were at the Riverside Court, your confirmation hearing would be the same day as your 341. Having it the same day causes complications... like immediate dismissals if there are procedural errors or if the trustee contests your plan and the judge agrees with them. Having a little time between 341 and confirmation helps minimize that. It gives your attorney and the trustee time to hammer out any conflicts in the plan. Speed isn't necessarily your friend in a CH13.
