    question on missed deadline

So my case was converted from a 7 to a 13 a few weeks ago. After we filed the motion to convert, the court issued an order to update certain documents. The updated documents were due yesterday @ 4:30 pm. My lawyer didn't submit the documents by the deadline (and still hasn't submitted them).

Will my case automatically be dismissed since the deadline was missed? The court was looking for an updated B22C, chapter 13 plan, etc.

Usually it's no big deal, depending, of course, on your judge. Here, the judge would issue a "show cause" order directing the lawyer to appear and 'show cause' why the court should not dismiss the case or impose some sanction. If the lawyer then files the documents, the show cause order would be vacated.
Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.
