Trustee Confirmation (new payment)

When I was at my 341 meeting, the trustee had a few issues with my case and mentioned that my payment could possibly increase. My atty said that she will talk to him because of a mistake on my taxes...when do I find out? My confirmation hearing is set for October 14th (and he even said at the 341...set this case for confirmation). Can he increase the payment AFTER the confirmation?

Your lawyer is going to talk to your trustee. Your lawyer should let you know when the discussion is over and what happened.

Typically your payment won't change after confirmation unless your financial circumstances change permanently before your case can be discharged and your lawyer has to modify your Ch 13 plan.

However, even after confirmation if your trustee suspects significant fraud, iinvestigates and finds it, has solid documentation to prove it, and notifies the bk judge, that can overturn a confirmation and likely will get your case dismissed to boot. Keep in mind though that if you are filing honestly and have nothing to hide, then confirmation is the goal you are after and chances are your payment won't change after that.
