How soon do creditors call after I voluntary dismiss my chapter 13???

I just voluntarly dismissed my chapter 13 and within a day the judge approved it. I can now refile for chapter 7 due to all the qualifications. It will be exactly a two week interval from when I had my case dismissed to the date I refile. Reason being that will be exactly when we will be under the median.

Does anyone know if creditor come after you within those two weeks. How soon are creditors notified that my ch 13 was dismissed.

Technically they can "come after you" immediately. But in reality, nothing works that fast. Even if they found out the day your CH13 was dismissed there is almost nothing that they could do, aside from some annoying phone calls, within a two week period.

If you are really filing for CH7 in 2 weeks, I would not sweat this at all.
