Converting to Chapter 7 question - Filed as a single, married now

After our baby is born I qualify for chapter 7. I was thinking of my options and if I dont go with dismissing my case to add my wife. The thought of converting has come back into play again. Since I filed chapter 13 when i was single and they look at that income for converting. Will they look back at my wifes prior 6 month income prior to me filing or not since i filed single.

One more question, when I file my wife will have no income. How long after i sign the petition can she get a job and not effect the bankruptcy. Does she have to wait to get a job until after the ch 7 is discharged?
