Minute things on my mind

I have a child with LD and his teacher recently phoned me about his behavior, also told me his scores since she tested him and suggested he get some tutoring, he is 5 grades below his reading level and writing is terrible, this is becoming a huge issue. Sylvan is expensive, but he needs something. Can we claim tutoring? Dare I start him. 2nd, we took out renters insurance last year due to a rash of thefts in the neighborhood, it's due now, not sure I want to renew since they found the thieves, but insurance isn't a bad idea. 3rd, I have no life insurance on myself, I've quit smoking for over a year, so my rates would be much lower now, I need to get some, just enough to cover a cremation atleast. I have another child with an IBS type of issue, we buy special food products for him, and supplements for the other child. My other kid needs glasses. And Navy Fed wants their money and won't quit calling. Arghh. Are these legitimate expenses? Going to see someone at the end of Oct. I believe to get this thing started.
