We have paid in full. I know the trustee said the discharge was 30-45 days to receive your papers. Is this time table accurate or just worst case scenerio. Also how quick will the discharge show up on pacer compared to when you actually get your papers. Please respond very important

Unfortunately, this depends on your trustee and where you live I think. I finished paying my chapter 13 in July of this year. My lawyer told me 30-45 days, but when I check pacer and data 13, there is a status conference set for my case in December of this year, so I'm pretty much stuck until then I think. I have been good, not missed a payment or anything, and the Trustee has distributed payments to creditor. When I talked to my lawyer, he said they schedule those conferences. So, hopefully this will not be the case for you. It seems like in reviewing Pacer that every case is different.
It seems to show up pretty quickly in Pacer, usually later on in the evening of the day when something has happened in the case for me.

Pacer and data 13 both say status conference about (which my lawyer did) in regard to my motion for discharge. From what I read on Pacer with other cases that have a status conference, it is where the trustee recommends what to do with the final disposition of a case. Again, I don't know what criteria they use to decide who gets one of these lovely conferences. The long time is probably because of where I live, I have heard there is quite a backlog in my district (Pittsburgh, PA area).

In Pacer, it went: Wage attachment stop order (which my attorney filed) and then the motion for discharge and then in response to that the status conference was setup from what I can gather. Then, Pacer showed that the trustee submitted papers (entited something like intention to pay creditors, batch) to pay creditors and that is it for now as of the last time I looked which was yesterday. This all happened since 07/19/2010. Now, data 13 center says that trustee has paid the creditors and is awaiting for the checks/payments to clear. I know that data 13 isn't updated regularly, so I don't know if the checks/payments have cleared or not. Data 13 says they were sent on 08/26.
