Mortgage after ch13?

I've paid my Ch13 off early, I've been waiting on discharge for 2 months - but am expecting it soon :-) My family has outgrown our home and would like to, once discharged, purchase a new home.

I'd like to know if anyone has had recent success in getting a mortgage soon after discharge - or any other advice you would have for me.

My credit score is 642 as of today.

I have spoken to SunTrust and Wells Fargo and they both have told me with a score of 600-620 we can purchase a home with Trustee approval (because I am in a 5 yr plan with 2 more yrs to completion.) So, you should be in better shape than me because you are done. Good Luck to you! And Congrats on completing your plan

Can I ask you how you paid your chapt 13 off early?

Sorry for the delayed response.

I made extra payments when I could - month by month and when receiving tax return, etc.

Paying off early didn't help me get discharged early... just received my discharge this week... after sending the final payment in Feb.
