Data Center Status

At the beginning of the month, my status at the data center showed, about to compete-z, now as of 8/12, it shows the following: Case Status CASES IN LIMBO - X

Anyone have any idea what this means? Of course I'm discovering this on the weekend, so I can't contact my attorney. Help! I don't want to lose sleep over this.

I wanted to update this, just in case anyone else ever runs into this.

I called my lawyer's office, and they didn't know what it meant, lol. They directed me to call the Trustee's office. So I called the trustee's office, and it means I am close to final payout, and the case should be over in 30-60 days.

I've only lurked here at BKforum, but I want to say you guys have seriously saved my sanity at times. Thanks for all the great things, I've read.

The 13 data center update has the same for me as well even the dates are the same August 12th. Thanks I didn't understand what it meant until you posted this. I am on a 36 month plan and pay 9% to my unsecured creditors. What I am wondering is my plan wasn't to be paid out until May 2011. I thought you had to pay the full 36 months. Could you tell me how long you plan is for and is it an early payoff for you as well. I haven't made any extra payments.

Interesting, I wonder if we're in the same district (eastern district of KY). I'm also in a 36 month plan, and it's an early payoff for me too. I've not made any extra payments.

Yes I am in the eastern ky district. I phoned my attny's office and spoke to the receptionist and was told that I would still have to pay the full 36 months That was when the case status posted about to complete now it has updated to say cases in limbo. How far from completion are you in your bk. Would you please keep updating your case I would like to know if we both are about to complete our cases.

Like you, I'm a year away from completion. When I called the trustee's office on Monday, I was told everything has been paid out, they will need to audit it, and I should hear from them in 30-60 days. They said I was to continue to pay until they discharge the case.

Wildcats21, how can you only be a 36 month plan if you pay only 9% to unsecured? I get to pay 100% for almost 60 months. Seems that trustee would have gone with a longer plan (60 months) and you would have paid a much higher percentage. What am I missing?

Edit: My bad. I see where median income below threshold results in 36 month plan. Sheesh.
