need help with question chap 13

    Hi All,

I finished my payment plan in chap 13 and my attorney filed for the wage attachment to stop, which it has, and he filed a motion for discharge. I see today on Pacer that there is a status conference setup for December of 2010. My question is, is this normal procedure before a discharge or does this mean my case has hit a snag? Originally my attorney said I should have a discharge in 30-45 days and that was back on July 20, 2010. Now, I'm concerned that something is wrong. Thanks in advance.

Some Trustees take as much as 6 months to close out a Chapter 13. They have to do reports and reconcile this and that... and wait for all checks to clear. They wait at least 60 days just for the last checks to clear or be cashed.

That you have a status conference on December, 2010, may only be related to the case being closed... not the discharge granted.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
