    Two vehicles

Can a single person filing 13 have 2 financed cars. One for personal and business truck. Will both be considered expenses . I found the means test to have gray areas and to be confusing.
Also does payback loan on 401 k count. or monthly retirement contributions.
My Bf is taking a hard look at his finances as retirement or job loss may be down the road before long. I was able to file chptr 7, but he makes too much
it sounds like. He is also upside down on house by more than 50% no way it
will come back in florida anytime soon to sell.
    chpt 7 ,5-2009

Not certain on the vehicle question.

But for 401k loans, yes it counts in a ch. 13. Though if the loan payment is due to end while in the plan his payment will probably increase when it does. For the deduction in addition to the loan payment, it will probably depend on the trustee. Have seen some comments about trustees objecting to both a loan & contribution, and others where nothing was said about the contribution as long as the amount was reasonable.
Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
(In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)
