I have a check from my homeowners insurance company for losses from a hail storm. If I choose not to perform the repairs, do I need to report this to the Trustee as income?

Yes because you are not using it to cover the loss. The insurance company has a paper trail on you (there is a check involved) and they also have your SS number. If you want to successfully complete your Chapter 13, before you do anything you will regret, talk to your attorney first._________________________________________
