Line 29 Transportation question on B22C

I am reviewing my draft and am wondering if I am allowed to take the Local Standards : transportation ownership/lease allowance of 496 for my 2nd vehicle which is paid outright. I live in CA and my lawyer put 612 for Vehicle Operations and gave 496 allowance - car payment for first vehicle. The 2nd one is 0.00 for the field. I am not sure if we get an allowance if we dont owe anything on 2nd car. BTW, its a 2003 with high milage.
    Thanks!

Can't claim a car payment on a paid off vehicle, so it sounds like your atty has completed it correctly.

Be sure that everything is covered on the schedule J for expenses though. You may come out higher than the IRS standards - just be sure to document it. Insurance, gas, routine maintenance on all vehicles, tags/registration - should all be accounted for in your detailed expenses.
Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
(In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)
