I'm in California and I wanted to know is the payment to the trustee the amount that is finally agreed upon (disposable income) or does it include all of your expenses and the trustee pays everything for you?

Payments to Trustee

You pay your own expenses. Groceries, gas, utilities, etc. Some secured debts may or may not be paid by the trustee thru the plan - such as car payments, mortgage payments - that will depend on the district and your situation at time of filing on those accounts. Such as if you are behind on your car loan, the car loan will probably get paid thru the plan. Mortgage can go either way. I have seen people post about paying arrears in the plan but making regular post-petition mortgage payments on their own. That is how my district does it... Then I've seen some whose plan pays the arrears & ongoing mortgage payments thru the plan.Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
(In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)
