    Is there a way?

    Well I signed all of my docs and paid my retainer fee to my atty on Thursday. She said they would file for me on Thursday or Friday. How can I find out if they have filed? (without having to call them)

    Check Pacer.
    Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
    (In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)

      You can't until they tell you or you get a letter from the bankruptcy court giving you a case number. I'm not sure if Pacer will be updated immediately either.
