Buyer's Order

It is possible that within the next month or so we may have to get a new car for my husband. I called my attorney to see what the process was and he stated that before anything can be done he will need a buyer's order. Can someone tell me what this is?

You will get this from the car dealer after you pick out a car you would like to purchase. It would make more sense to call it a "purchase order" - it will outline all costs, interest rates, down payment, etc. It gives your attorney something to submit to the trustee for approval.

Read it! Some buyers orders are commitments to buy the car. They can give you a buyers order without making you sign promising to purchase.
