Filed chapter 13 on 5/10/10. My mortgage is due the 1st of the month with a grace period until the 16th. I did not pay April or May payments which are in the plan. I thought I had to make a June payment but keep being told that I have a post petition due date of June 1 for zero dollars. Do I pay June or not? Confused.

Does your plan provide that the mortgage be paid by the trustee or by you directly? If the plan provides that you pay the mortgage directly, you should probably make the mortgage payment. But, ask your attorney to be sure. What the mortgage company tells you at this point is irrelevant, unless of course they tell you the address where you can mail the payment.LadyInTheRed is in the black!
