Four Years Ago Today

We filed Ch 13 four years ago today and have just one more year to go to successfully complete our plan. At times the years seem to be flying by, and at other times they seem to be crawling by Here's hoping our last year fits the 'flying by' category!

The one constant for my husband and I over the last four years has been this forum. The support, the camaradarie, the virtual friendships, the great advice - they've been a lifeline more times than I can count.

Just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks to everyone who makes this forum the special place it is - our admin Laz, our fabulous moderators, and our wonderful members. Together everyone creates and maintains a special oasis in a turbulent sea of financial troubles for thousands of people all across the country.

Thanks to each of you for the time you spend here helping complete strangers - it's very special and it's been a privilege to watch it happen for the last four and a half years. Here's to starting year five and getting to June 1, 2011 - our finish line!

Phenomenal! I know exactly how you are feeling right now. (We just hit the "under 1 year" left mark) My tummy still gets in knots sometimes because we have made it so far and yet a layoff could still be possible, but this forum and caring folks like you keep my mind steady. Thank you for all you have done for all of us!

I'm just starting my CH 13 journey. I've learned SO much from this forum. MORE than anything the attorney told me. My first payment to the trustee will be mailed out on Friday! 1 down...35 to go! LOL!

Thank YOU for sticking around and helping us newbies out! Telling us about your success through this is sometimes the only thing that gives us hope in what can be a very dark time. Were only a few months into this and hearing from people who have "been there, done that" really helps alot. So much of this process is left up to the filer to figure out on their own. I dont think I could have made it this far without people like you and the rest of this forum, and I'm only a couple of months into it.

That probably makes you the only (or one of a very few) that has been on this forum for their entire chapter 13 (and completed chapter 13...sorry JustBroke, but you converted )
