    Lien Stripping

For lien stripping in AZ, does anyone know if the proceeding involves a motion to be filed with the court or adversary proceedings need to be commenced? I know in CA you need only to file a motion to do this along with a good appraisal report.

Also what about Maryland and other states?

    Please help!

    Thank-you.

I know that Florida, it's done as a contested matter, by motion. You're right, some States require a Complaint (adversary proceeding) to be filed in order to strip a lien. I was lucky to just file a Motion to Determine Secured Status and Strip Lien in my (Florida) District.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
