Is this normal re: TT objections?

So my 341 meeting was 3 weeks ago. Early last week, I received a letter in the mail from the TT stating that he was filing an unfavorable recommendation for confirmation. My confirmation hearing is scheduled for May 10th. The 2 biggest objections he had were that my potential lawsuit was not included in the plan (I was in a car accident a month and a half ago where the other driver was at fault) and that my bonuses were not included (didn't know for sure I would be getting a bonus when I filed). Neither of these were a big deal and I thought I would have to amend my plan to cure the objections. I called my atty yesterday to discuss.

He called me back earlier today and told me he received an email from the TT stating that he would recommend my plan for confirmation on the 10th as long as my atty files a motion to pay directly on my car. I also have to sign some certificate stating that I am current on my car payments and/or have the intent to sign up for automatic deductions. I asked about the objections in the letter and whether we needed to do anything about them. He said no since the TT's email said nothing about them and that he would confirm as is if we file the motion for the car. Does that happen often? Why would the TT file objections and then decide they don't matter?
    Filed Ch 13 - 2/2010
    341 meeting - 4/2010
    Confirmed! - 6/2010
