Retained law firm for chapter 13 over 5 weeks ago. All paper work turned in that was requested including garnishnment notices but they still do not seem in a hurry to file. My check was garnished for the 3rd time yesteday. Ugh

Can you make a filing appointment with them? Are they aware that you want to file ASAP? Ask them about an emergency filing. They should be able to have the petition filled out within a couple of hours if they have a fire under them.....Filed Chapter 13 on 2-28-10. 341 completed 4/14/10. Confirmed 5/14/10. Lien strip granted 2/2/11
