Calculating DMI
Thanks for the input, JustBroke. Do you know if I can include the other items (washing machine, computer, etc.) as secured debt? Also, I am considering taking a withdrawal from a 401K (not a loan) to pay the attorney fees. Will I need to include that amount in my 6 month income lookback? If so, can I divide it by 12 or must I divide it by 6? We really did not plan on filing BK, but in looking forward, we are unable to meet our debts. I work as a teacher's aide with no benefits so my pay fluctuates due to days off and I also receive no pay in July and August. Since we made the decision to file, I would just like to get it over with quickly and move on. Any help is appreciated!
