    Paid out? Early??

I jsut got a notice from my employer that the trustees have stopped taking payments, and my 13 has been paid out?? 1.5 years early? Has this happened to anyone? I am confused as to how this happend... I also would like some advice on what to do now. I obviously have to clean up my credit, but I don't really know how. Any advice? Thansk!

Call your lawyer right away and ask him/her to contact your trustee and find out if you really are discharged. If you have PACER access, you can find out what's going on there as well. You don't want a bookkeeping mistake by either your employer or your trustee to cause your case to be dismissed for non-payment. Hopefully your plan is paid in full - just be sure to contact your lawyer right away to confirm that.

Until you receive official notice from the courts in the mail that your plan has indeed been successfully discharged, assume nothing.

There are a ton of threads here in the forums on credit repair after discharge. You can do a forum search and find a lot of them. You'll get some great tips on how members have approached this after their discharges.
