I had a sleepless night last night as I was thinking about the pro's and con's of filing CH 13. I don't know if anyone else puts this much attention to the "what if's" (I know my husband doesn't).
I worry that my kids last 5 years at home before college will be living in a CH 13. What about new expenses as they start to drive? What about college - both could potentially qualify for some kind of a scholarship...but I doubt fully covered?
Our attorney had mentioned trying to get our plan into 3 years...but everything I have read sounds like we will be in a 5 year.
What if we decided to let the house go and settle with the 2nd mortgage (due to deficiency balance) and start rebuilding credit by paying back on our 2 ccards?
Decisions, Decisions.....and worse that my husband and I need to be on the same page with this one (at the same time). Just needed to vent - I'm sure others have these same issues!
