Pacer Tips or FAQ?

I've read a lot of posts about Pacer and I've read a little on the Pacer site. I'm between my 341 and confirmation. My attorney and the trustee are working few things out about my education and daycare expenses. I have joined https://www.13datacenter.com/ where I can see when my trustee receives my payment, pays creditors, track balances, etc. Does anyone have a few good pointers for Pacer and what should I be searching for? I don't want to search through 1000s of pages by accident and have to pay. Maybe there is a FAQ or other post somewhere that explains when/why to use it and how. Keeping car and house. Paying about 15% on unsecured CCs (hopefully).

I've seen that thread in the General section, but I still have one question about Pacer. I looked at it yesterday and saw the filing activity. Will it show up there when my creditors file claims? That's what I'm interested in seeing and I'm not sure if no one has yet or if I wasn't looking in the right place. TIA!

After you log in to PACER and query your own case, click on the blue link bar where it says "Reports" - across the top of the web page. In the drop down menu you will see "Claims Activity" and "Claims Register". That is what you are looking for. Just be sure you have queried your own case first, so you don't get the claims activity for the whole district. :-)

I am wondering how you pay for using the Pacer site ??? Do they send u a bill every mth or so ???

They email or mail you a bill when your balance is... I forget... more than $10? maybe $25? Something like that. They won't bill you until your balance reaches a certain amount anyway. Then I always just click in the my account portion of the PACER and pay it by debit card.

I am trying to register fo Pacer but I must be doing something wrong. It is asking me for my firm name (?). Does that mean my attorney? Is there another sign-in page that I am missing? Thanks.

Nanzee. Did u apply online for a userid & password. I did that then they sent me the information to enter to sign in ???
