    auto gift question

Do I need to contact my attorney if someone is giving me a car? Do I need permission to accept this gift? Our second car has been sitting in the yard for over 18 months. We didn't have the monies to repair it.

So long as having the car will not affect your ability to keep making plan payments (i.e. are you taking over car payments?), then no, you do not need to tell your attorney or the BK trustee.

I am not a Ch13 person, but from what I have read through the various posts, you need to keep the attorney informed of everything you do while you are in your plan. Chances are that he/she will tell you to not worry about it, but you need to get that from him/her.
