Getting a second job during chapter 13?

Is it possible for me to get a temporary second job during a chapter 13 or will it mess things up? My husband and I are separating in July or August and I need some money to save up for a place to rent (deposit, first months rent, pet deposit, etc). Would that all be considered disposable income and have to go to the trustee or could I save most of it?

A second job increases the amount of money coming in during your Plan years. Anytime something like this is planned or occurs, you need to advise your attorney. Since you have other changes coming into the picture also, you may have other things to consider also so call your attorney - best of luck to you.
