Notice of Appearance and Request for special notice

After the 2004 exam against my ex (debtor) for unpaid divorce judgement, my attorney has filed a notice of appearance and request for special notice pursuant to frbp 1007 and 2002. What exactly is this? Oh...he filed Chapter 13 in WA state.

It is your attorney entering an appearance in the case so that he'll get all future filings from now on. It means your ex did not list you as a creditor so without filing the appearance, your attorney wouldn't get any notices of documents your ex filed in his BK case.

I am an attorney, but I am just not your attorney.
As such, any statement is not intended to create an attorney/client relationship.
