New to Forum (And Chap 13), lots of questions.

Hello,
I am new to the forum and recently completed my 341 meeting where my wife and I will be paying back 100% of the debt we owe. A few questions if anyone can help:

1. The amounts shown at 13datacenter are a little lower than the balances that were on the CC's at the time of filing. Any idea why this is?
2. I know some CC's won't make a claim, but I'm assuming most do. Will they always claim 100% of what is owed? Any reason they wouldn't?
3. Should I sign up for PACER and look at documents, or is 13datacenter good enough?
4. It has been a month since the 341. How long before claims start showing up at 13datacenter? How long until my trustee starts paying?
5. Everything I read stated that trustee's get 10%, but on 13datacenter it shows the trustee % at 5.6. Any idea why this would be?

1. Your lawyer probably used a balance from a statement you provided that didn't include some interest that later accrued. Just a guess.

2. The only reason I know of that a creditor wouldn't claim 100% of what you owe is that somebody screwed up.

3. Can't answer that one.

4. Don't know.

5. Trustee fees vary by district. I believe 10% is the top end.

10 percent is average; your district may vary.

The creditors (with a few exceptions...govt stuff get 180 days) get 90 days past the 341 date to file proof of claim and I hear a lot wait till the last minute and some don't file at all. With the glut of people defaulting these days, I am sure a few of them just forget.
