    Early completion?

I was wondering if alot of cases end earlier than they are scheduled for? I am in month 52. It seems that what I have to pay and what I am paying along with the balance on hand seems that I could be done next month(if I figuerd correctly). It would also be a little less $ than they have listed for the plan base. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in Advance.

My case was recently discharged and all my creditors were paid before I reached my plan base.

There is a difference between "old law" BK and those that started with the new BK laws.

We started with the new one and we go 60 months. The full 60 months. If our creditors receive more than the plan percentage, so be it. (In fact our creditors will because of extra money in to the plan via our tax refunds)

Oh, we're also very lucky here in Michigan. We get to go a full 60 months after confirmation.

mine will finish early, 47 months instead of the 60 months and I am not on a 100% pay to unsecured. Mine was just a case of a wrong amount entered on one, attorney objected after 3years into the plan. The correct lower amount was then entered. 13datacenter now says"about to completet". Sent my last payment four days ago. I am waiting on the audit and discharge papers.

You filed old law as we did in 2002. Unless you are advised otherwise, you need to finish all payments in your plan and when your Plan is audited after your last payment by your trustee, you will receive a refund of any overage. Pull out your confirmed Plan and read it. f what you are stating is true and you have further questions, ask your attorney because he/she knows your plan and financial status the best.
