Are your wages garnished on your payment plan in Chapter 13 or do you send your payment to Trustee??? Help! I am new to this, we are thinking of filing for Chapter 13.

To answer your question, whether your Ch 13 payment is taken directly from your paycheck or you send the payment to your trustee yourself depends on the customs in your local bk court. Knowledgeable bk attorneys in your local area can tell you what to expect.
And to set the record straight, Ch 13 payments are not "garnished" from your paycheck like a true wage garnishment ordered by a court judgment. It's more like a trustee-mandated paycheck deduction.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
