Filing your taxes question

So I already received a letter from the trustee to remind me that I need to send him a copy of the filings within 10 days of filing. My question is, i can file anytime up to the IRS deadline correct?

If your tax returns are postmarked/dated April 15th (deadline date), your trustee will want them in hand 10 days thereafter. If you file on any date prior to 4/15, you will need to submit yur returns to your Trustee by 10 days after the date you put next to your signature on the tax returns (state and federal).
