Ok, not sure if we'll be a 7 or 13 but I'm planning on a 7 (UST filed motion to dismiss, our attorney felt strong about replying to the objection which he did attacking the UST's position on several items and on the fact we can't repay a significant amount in a 13 because of expenses disallowed in the 7 but allowed in the 13).
Anyway, here is my question. IF we end up in a 13 (we're in Utah) we have a 1996 Altima with 165k miles and a 2005 Altima with 145k miles on it. We have two teens, one is going to be 16 in April one 17 in March. Can we with approval purchase a newer car for us and let the teens drive the 1996 Altima? Also, if we do that, do you think the court would allow my wife's mother (she has offered) to co-sign a loan so we get better terms?
