    Chapter 13 auto question

What happen's when a person filing a chapter 13 has a higher car payment then allowed by the trustee? I beleive I read somewhere here in Washington state it was like $489 per month. Also what if you have alot of equity in your car but you are still making payments on it.

I had 2 car payments, one at $460 and one at $530, they were both objected too. I was told to raise my plan payment by $300/mo or surrender the vehicles.
I managed to modify the loans with the credit union to bring them down, but the above is basically what happens. You can surrender the car or raise your plan payment by the amount your payment is over what is allowed.
