    property taxes

Does anyone know if owed property taxes can get rolled into a CH 13? I know IRS back taxes can....but this would be county property taxes.

    THanks

Yes, county and other property taxes can be included as a debt when filing Ch 13. If the county or other body files a claim to be paid through your plan in time, then the tax will be paid in full as a priority debt in your Ch 13.

Depending on the law in your state, the property taxes often will be considered as secured by your property. Also interest can continue to be charged during your Ch 13, so it's important to consider the expected interest when your lawyer puts your 13 plan together.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
