Is there any mortgage company out there that will help refinance anyone in chap 13? I'm so stressed I could scream!

You might try one of those online that have multiple offers from different financial institutions. I tried this and had immediate response via phone and email. I found that all but one were not interested if you are in an active 13. Even then that one required that you had been in it over one year with everything being paid on time. Also, it was thru FHA and the rates were good and still are if you can arrange it. Even tho I could save I felt that the hassle of all the paper work and dealing with the trustee/court in order to do this, I decided that I would just ride it out, as my mortgage is being paid thru the plan, and look at it again when my 13 is finished.

look at the "HARP" and "HAMP" options... (HARP is refinance, HAMP is modification). Especially if your mortgage is owned by Freddie or Fannnie.

I also found one but I've been in over 4 yrs and was going to pay the debt off with my home equity. The rates are GREAT right now. But I too will be riding this thing out to the end...
