    Finally Filed!

Well - we finally filed on Monday with payments proposed of $1400/60 months. This includes paying $10K to payoff an RV, $32000 to payoff a 2009 Truck. That alone, with interest is $700-800 of the payment. The rest is a 12% dividend to unsecured (230K), attorney fees, trustee fees, whatever else.

Just in time too since I was just served for a case in my county from a local credit union for $5200.

Hopefully we can get this confirmed. I will surrender 1 rental home and will keep the lease on our 2nd car. Our home appraised at $278k and we owe $272K on the first with no second. We proposed paying $235 a month outside the plan for student loans and left small 401K deposits on the schedule.

Outside the plan are student loans, house, car lease.

Apparently my ex intends on taking me back for more child support in Feb so we'll see what happens with that.

    Congratulations!

As someone who is just about to file and has $140k in student loans between me and my wife, I am interested in hearing what happens with that one. It seems really inconsistent by district.

Apparently paying them outside the plan as an expense is not an option up here in Michigan.

Thanks! My student loan balance is $32000. I've heard people in my district had good luck with being allowed to pay them outside the plan so I'm hoping it goes through fine.
