oh no, please help. Bank related

When we filed our ch 13, on dec. 17th. The paralegal asked for my bank balance. It was supposed to be $5. I rarely use that account, so I'm not on top of it.

I just was getting our bank records pulled for that day, to have for our 341 meeting, and it was -347.00. I now know that my direct deposit didn't get deposited and a few checks came back + the bank fees.

How bad is this going to look? I have a call in to the attorneys office, but I'm freaking out here. Why do they even ask for proof of actual balance when you filed? Will it be bad that it was NEGATIVE? And is now POSITIVE ($15) since i got paid?

I'm a preschool teacher. I don't make that much money. My husband is the breadwinner. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

the want to make sure you don't have thousands on the day you filed. Being negative is no problem. (well except for all the fees etc)
