Ch. 13 looking to convert to 7

A chapter 13 is a negotiation, like any other. However, too many attorneys are simply willing to roll over and some are just not creative enough to make it work.
Ok i understand that the Trustee's job is to make sure the plan is well funded. from what i know now i think my attorney should of adviced me to wait until the baby was born and to get a new car in the mean time. my plan was just confirmed in Jan. 25th. is there a waiting period before i can convert to ch. 7?

I spoke with attorney yesterday and he said that "converting to ch. 7 is not an option due to household imcome is too high". he said that our payment play will need to be lowell than it is now. i agreed with him on that, but i'm still concern about having a DMI of $786 with an increase in expense of $1300/month plus about $180/month for food and formula. so i asked him how would that work when my legitimate expenses are more than my household income? he's answered was the trustee will find a way even if it means creditors will get a penny for each dollar.
