I had a Whole life insurance policy that I've been paying on for about 7 years and just recently converted it to a UVL policy. It has about 9k in it, but there is a penalty to withdraw it for the first 10 years of the policy so if I try to liquidate it there be be $0 cash value. Is a UVL policy protected in a situation like this?
