How long to wait

I recently used a credit card for a $700.00 bill for car repairs. How long should I wait to file chapter13.

I believe that you can't have any new charges within 90 days prior to filing. I might be wrong though.

The "usual" look back period is 90 days; however, we had to explain all charges to credit cards, checks written, money withdrawn and deposits in excess of $500 for one year prior to the filing date.
