Wish I lived there, lol. Our trustee is an animal - though I have to say he was not all that awful to us, compared to some of the other debacles we witnessed. Oh well, just another thing we all have survived!

I know what you're feeling but it truly is a lot less scary than it sounds! It took about 2 or 3 minutes per case and everyone was treated with respect and kindness. Please don't lose sleep over it! If you've been honest with your attorney and aren't hiding any assets, which I'm assuming you're not, you have nothing to worry about!

            Thanks

            Thanks for the reply.
I am just nervous as the not knowing what to expect.
I have no assets., and have nothing to hide., and I have a good attorney., but after reading some of these nightmare stories I get nervous.
Do they ask a lot of questions?
Do I just need my id and SS card?
            Thanks again

In situations like yours with no assets, you should get some standard questions - nothing out of the ordinary. Answer the questions truthfully, but there's no need to volunteer more information than the trustee is asking for. Your 341 is not the time to be chatty

Do I just need my id and SS card?
A picture ID (drivers license or passport are what is normally used) and your Social Security card are required. Some trustees want more than this - you'll need to ask your lawyer about what to bring. He/she will be the most reliable source of information about exactly what to bring to the 341 with you. Some trustees may send written instructions in the mail about what to bring along. When is your 341 meeting?
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
