What will happen at my 341 meeting?

Ok the more I read the more I worry and it's starting to keep me up more and more. How does the 341 meeting work? I show up with my ID, SS, and bank statements from the last meeting with my attorney to the meeting date. Do they ever ask for them or do they only look at all the paperwork you sent in? What if after you filed you made a little better money? If self employed and you get paid twice in one month but nothing the next, can they take your second check? Or can they only raise what your payments are?
Anyone that has done this and has I idea on this I would really like to hear from you.

I had my 341 last Monday in Pittsburgh,PA. Pretty short and uneventful
You sign in at the front desk and I got a sticker w/my name of it to attach to my shirt. Then went to the 3rd floor mtg room w/had a big Chapter 13 sign with an arrow pointing to the waiting area. Room for about 50. There were 3 sm conference rooms and on the wall was a schedule which showed which room your 341 was scheduled for. Not long after I arrived I saw my attorney for a brief time. Then they called my name. Went in, sat down, asked for my ss card, driver license, everything was being recorded . Asked name, address, if u understood the bk papers you signed, a few more questions and it was over. Did not ask to see any paperwork that I had taken with me just in case. On last Friday noticed it was posted my confirmation hearing date. My mortgage company did send someone just because I guess. He told them I am a nickel behind on my pmts.
I guess because my pmt amount is $ 000.05. maybe I made the check out one time in 10 yrs without the nickel. Oh and my lawyer had on the papers $ 000.00 for mortage and the mortgage company asked that it be changed to include the nickel...
Other than that very uneventful , took at the most 10 minutes. Everyone stood up wished me luck and that was that. Nothing really to get in a tissy about...over before ya know it..

BKMan... just go down to the trustee in your county and watch some cases. That is what I did, and it totally calmed me down. Even though you read how uneventful they are (which they are), it's good to do a "dry run" to know where to park, how the building is set up, etc.

When I went the trustee thought I was a creditor because he would always say "are there any creditors in the room for XXX" and look at me.

The trustee only looks at your income six calendar months before filing, and your asset statements as of the day of filing. They will ask you in your meeting if you have any earned but unpaid income.

Seriously, though... each meeting lasts about 5 minutes, I went down for less than an hour and watched six cases.

Forgot to add on my first reply. I dont really know who conducted the meeting. I am assuming its a trustee assistant because my trustee is female & it was a man.
It was very private, just trustee assistant, my lawyer ,myself & mortgage co guy.
So they had 3 mtgs in 3 separate rooms going on at the same time..So in my case you could actually not hear what was going on behind the closed door of our conference room.Thats just what happaned in my case...
