I'm just 7 months into my ch13 and it's been rough but educational. Husband lost his job in October, the dryer broke, car transmission problems, etc. However, we're adjusting our budget (and my husband has a new job starting in February) and we are doing okay. But we have had to change things alot (i.e. adult son is now buying his own car insurance, changed cell phone plans saving us $100/mo, shop at discount grocery stores, have bought used toys (look new though) for Christmas for WAY less, make one trip for combined errands, etc.) and we're doing okay. It does feel good to feel liberated from using credit cards but it is tough too. Will we make it through the ch13? That really matters if we can both keep jobs with the economy the way it is; if we can't we're doomed...
