letter/ Congratulations on completing your chapter 13 plan

I received this letter today. It says in 30 to 60 days, I will receive a copy of the "Discharge of Debtor", and after final paperwork is completed "Order Discharging Standing Trustee". It makes no reference to making payments or when I can finally "exhale". I am little confused, But was wondering exactly what this means?

Have you made your last payment? I am assuming you did because the letter you received from your Trustee is normal and it just advises you what is going to happen between now and your discharge and is sent out after you make your last payment. What the trustee will do now is audit your plan and send out the remaining funds in your plan to the creditors. The trustee also sends them paperwork to sign and return. Once all that is returned and all the planets align for the Trustee, you will receive your discharge papers. Our letter came in June of 2006; our discharge was the end of August 2006 to give you an idea.

There is nothing further you need to do but if you still have questions (i.e., your payments), give your attorney a call.
