Questions after first meeting regarding switching banks / employer garnishment

I had my first meeting today, and think I'm more nervous now than before the meeting

To my surprise the attorney did not think that it was critical that I open up a checking account with another bank, despite having two credit cards with that same back (Chase). He said he has never seen Chase go after anyone's money around here. When I questioned this, he acknowledged that there was a chance that they could go after my money, but said he thought it was less than 1%. I will most likely be paying back 100%, and I am not late on anything as I type this. Anyone have experience with Chase, or does anyone have a varying opinion?

He also said that my wages would have to be garnished, as that is the way it has been for the past 90 days. I live in Indiana. Does that sound accurate?

First off , and this is only my opinion, I would definetly open an account at a new bank. Its called a fresh start for a reason ....They may not touch your account at all but why take the chance of it happening then regretting it.
I am in W. PA and yes as stated in my other post... Filed 10-21-09 wages garnished on 11-20-09 paycheck... Trustee wants secured paid within plan & wages garnished..
Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones
    Chapter 13 filed 10-21-09
    Discharged 4-13-15

I bank with Chase and had a credit card with them, hadn't paid the credit card in at least 5 months before filing. Didn't change banks and they didn't give me any problems. If I had thought to change banks before filing I probably would have but didn't think of it and am grateful that I didn't have any issues that I've heard others go through with other banks!
