Pmt sent 10 days ago not credited...

I am getting nervous ... I sent in a cashiers check 10 days ago. It is not showing up on my account yet ??? My concern is the original amount the attorney told me to send in is different then the amount I have been ordered to pay ... Would that make them send it back to me ?? Just one more thing to worry about

Until you are confirmed, you continue making the payment that was proposed when you filed. Has your plan been confirmed yet?

Cashier's checks have a tracking number. Have you tried tracking the check yet to see where it is?

Did you send the check out by regular USPS mail or did you send it with at least a return receipt requested?

As noted below:

Payments may not be sent by any express delivery service requiring a signature by the recipient, or which cannot be delivered to a post office box. Any payments sent by such method which cannot be accepted will be returned to sender at the sender's expense, and will not be credited to the debtor's account.

I went to my credit union and they said they didnt have cashiers check they only had bank checks so thats what I got... Not sure about the tracking # but it would be insane not to have some kind of # on them...

I am also in PA. What I do is go to the post office, get a money order ( they take debit cards so I do not have to go to the bank first), send it priority mail (which can be delivered to a PO box) with a delivery confirmation. With the delivery confirmation you log onto the USPS website and enter the tracking# and you can see when it was scanned at the receiving post office. The money oder is $1.50, my priority mail to TN is $4.95 and the delivery confirmation is $.70 but it is worth it to know for sure that it got there. Hope this helps.

From experience if I send the payment out Friday from the post office they have it in TN Sunday night and it usually will have a post date in the 13datacenter.com of Tuesday.

But thanks so much for the address...I set up an account on that site also.
NO PMT.... I sent an email and waiting to hear. I am a wreck.. Just my luck the pmt would be lost somewhere between here and there. My real concern is the amt the attorney told me to send in and then the amt the trustee wants are different so the cashiers check was for the amount the attorney told me to pay. I get paid Friday and am not sure if my wages are attached yet or not. I DO NOT have the money to pay twice so I waiting to see how much my paycheck is and if they took it out.
The stress level is to the max right now..
